We highly encourage and prefer cases captured using Intra-Oral Scanner Photogrammetry systems, like Shining3D (Aoralscan Elite), TruAbutment (ioConnect) and Aidite (TrueFit Pro5). By By preferring top-tier photogrammetry systems, Metazahn guarantees that the data we receive is perfect, allowing us to focus entirely on crafting a flawless final product.
Why photogrammetry? Photogrammetry workflows deliver superior implant position accuracy and passive fit for full-arch cases while streamlining clinical chair time.
Why it matters? If a prosthetic is even slightly misaligned, forcing it into place creates mechanical stress. Over time, this tension can lead to severe complications like screw loosening, the Zirconia fracturing, or even bone loss around the implants. Photogrammetry’s ultra-precise data allows the lab to engineer a perfect passive fit from the very beginning.
We design the patient’s new smile without ever meeting them in person. Because of this, these four standard full-face photos are the absolute foundation of facially driven design. They ensure the new teeth are proportioned and positioned to harmonize with the patient’s unique facial features, rather than just fitting onto the implants.
